Corvette we viewed recently in full display mode, clamshell hood open, at the
NCRS Winter Regional Meet in Orlando.
At
first glance, a neophyte might judge this ‘89 the victim of a chrome dream or
a simple body package bolt-on. The 350 engine bay is loaded with chrome, and
the body does have a Stalker body package. On further examination, there’s a
lot more to this custom, which we discovered is a well thought-out and finely
done modified.
Urban
bought his ‘89 ten years ago with 6,000 miles on it. He installed a wide body
kit from Stalker, which consists of unique front and rear bumpers, side panels,
simulated front and rear fender scoop inserts, side mirror covers, and a rear
spoiler. So modified, Urban’s white C4 became an institution on the streets
in the Ft. Lauderdale, where he racked up
