Massachusetts, decided to update this ’67 coupe with modern power and convenience. Purchased five years ago as a “basketcase,” with little more than the middle shell of a ’67 to start with, Paul elected to slip a ’92 Corvette LT-1 engine in place of the original carbureted powerplant
and back it up with a
late-model Camaro 5-speed as opposed to a vintage 4-speed. As the owner of
five other “original” Corvettes, Paul said he wanted the ’67 to be a “good
driver for day trips out to the Cape or down to Carlisle for the Corvettes
at Carlisle show.”
