The
Edelbrocks are a fun crew. There’s Vic Junior, who races this #614 Z06 coupe,
and Nancy, his wife, who talked him out of racing 38-foot Scarabs and into
vintage racing in 1987. Then there are daughters Camee and Christi, who race
‘66 Shelby GT350s right alongside their father. This is one lovable family
of racers who know how to have a good time. On Saturday night during the Historic
Sport Car Races at Daytona, Vic invited a few dozen friends to his 96-foot
yacht anchored on Daytona Beach. You have to take your shoes off to board
because any debris could mar the delicate teak wood. Camee cranked up her
weed eater to mix everybody an icy drink and gave tours of the boat. This
is the good life, chatting with car people and munching finger food in your
sock feet.
Even
higher excitement for the Edelbrock “Fun Crew” was racing the
