Top:
After plugging in the new visor, insert it back through the hole in the sunvisor
mount. Don’t forget to put it through the hole in the interior header panel
first. Once you have it in the mount, put on the spring, then the large washer
retainer. A 10mm deep socket can be used to compress the retainer over the
visor stud, then reinstall the small retaining nut and use the same method
with the 10mm socket to push it over the stud.
Bottom: Now
reinstall the top cover. Be sure to put the lip of the cover under the edge
of the interior header molding. Once you have done this, reinstall the header
panel and then finally the rear view mirror. Now you can take that top off
whenever the sun is out and not be embarrassed by those terrible looking sunvisors.
