old visors in about 30 minutes. The only tools needed were a Phillips screwdriver,
a small flat-bladed screwdriver, and a small pointed awl. It is a good idea
to go ahead and order the spring clip that retains the sunvisor because more
than likely the original will break upon removal. So gather your tools, order
your parts, and let’s get started!
Top:
As you can see, the visors on our ‘86 coupe were in horrible condition. Definitely
time to be replaced!
Bottom:
After pulling the top, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding
the interior header molding in place. You will also have to remove your rearview
mirror.
