An
active member of the C5 Registry, Phil relied on the experience and advice
from other C5 Registry members when selecting his modifications for the LS1
engine. Going for more than just the usual intake and exhaust bolt-ons, Phil
looked to Cartek Racing for a set of modified heads and cam, all the better
to free up the air flow through the engine. On top, Phil added a Breathless
Performance Vortex PowerDuct with twin filters up front, while the exhaust
side is capably handled by TTS long-tube headers, X-pipe, and Corsa Indy mufflers
