Each painted piece is wet-sanded and buffed to a show-quality finish, either plain or with custom etched lettering. Design Specialties also offers a variety of other color-coordinated or chrome underhood pieces, from matching fender well covers to chrome alternator covers, to finish off the show-like appearance. The fuel rail covers are also offered in chrome, with etching as an option there as well.

Top: On the driver’s side, remove the vacuum hose from the brake booster and push it down and out of the way. Slide the rear of the fuel rail cover into place first, position the fuel line, then clip in the front of the cover.

Bottom: The driver’s side cover uses a lower piece as well. Lift up the fuel line and lay the lower cover into place. Line up the predrilled holes in the cover and use the two ½-inch screws to secure.
