Chevy small-block horsepower. The five-piece kit comes with a two-piece driver’s side fuel rail cover, a passenger side fuel rail cover, and a chrome “double-scoop” intake manifold cover to completely renovate the top of the modern small-block. The fuel rail covers are offered in a variety of colors to match the exterior paint on C5s, so you’ll need to have your exterior paint code handy when ordering.

Top: The C5 LS-1 looks impressive from the factory, but what’s up with all that plastic? Adding Design Specialties’ Top-End Motor Kit, in a color that will match the car’s exterior, will a provide more of an attention-grabbing show appearance.

Bottom: After removing the oil cap/dipstick and removing the factory’s plastic fuel rail covers (they simply snap off), begin the installation of the Design Specialties cover by gently working the rear into place and clipping into position. Then reinstall the oil cap and dipstick.
