     Even though Larry’s Stage II Corvette has been extremely reliable – “No problems at all,” he says – he does have one complaint: “If there’s a bad thing about the car, it’s the fact that the competition disappears too quickly!”
     Our short test drive in the Lingenfelter Stage II ended all too soon yet probably just in time. With 650 horsepower so convenient at your right foot, it was all too tempting to dip into the seductive boost at every green light or passing opportunity.
     Larry Dobbs summed it up quite nicely: “Once you hit 4,000 RPM, you’re grinning and going!”
