Back at LPE last fall, the engine was pulled for inspection and disassembly, then balanced and blueprinted prior to Stage II reassembly with forged aluminum pistons, forged steel crankshaft, and a custom LPE camshaft. The heads were also ported and treated to a three-angle valve job and LPE valvetrain components. Put back together with the twin turbos, the Stage II Lingenfelter C5 developed, as promised, 650 horsepower and 600 lb.ft. of torque.
