who many Corvette enthusiasts will recognize as the former owner of Dobbs Publishing
Group, publisher of Corvette Fever, before Larry sold the company to Petersen
(now emap) in 1998, purchased the 2000 Corvette at a Florida dealership but
had it drop-shipped to Courtesy Motors in Decatur, IN, for immediate delivery
to Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. LPE then installed its Stage 1 package,
consisting of a pair of ball-bearing turbochargers, twin intercoolers, and all
