machine. Inside, the Corsa cat-back exhaust rumbles from the tailpipes with
no interior resonance to detract from the experience. In fact, the car seems
quieter than a stock C5.
If
there’s anything to quibble about, it would have to be the ride quality –
but only on rough road surfaces. On normal streets, the suspension is definitely
taut but not obnoxious in any way. Ride height is a bit of a problem over
driveway dips and speed bumps, but Vette Brakes is in the process of raising
the car 1-inch all around without detracting from the handling prowess.
During
our exhibition run with Lesinski, he romped on the throttle in second gear
to give us just a taste of the Stage II’s acceleration potential. Having recently
