When you’re talking 650 horsepower and 200 mile-per-hour speeds, you anticipate a bucking engine, buck-board suspension, and noisy exhaust. But that’s not the case with Goeckel’s One Lap-prepared C5. The twin-turbo LS1, even with its custom-ground Lingenfelter cam, idles like a stock Corvette and tools around town with none of the temperamental characteristics expected from such a
