performance modifications to his ’99.
Leno didn’t want anything too radical, just add a little more response, a little more rumble and add some exterior flash. Corvette Mike and his Parts Department manager, Mike Patterson, put together a bolt-on package that delivered what Leno was looking for.
First step was the basics. Patterson dropped the stock pipes for a set of B&B Tri-Flows. Their cat-back system provides better flow without excessive noise, which is cool when you’re Leno driving to the studio and working on your monologue. To add a little more flash to the already good-looking B&B tips, Patterson installed American Big Bike’s chrome C5 exhaust trim plate.
If you’re gonna enhance the exhale side you’d better improve the inhale as well, and to do so Patterson installed RM Racing’s Twin Flow air intake. The Twin Flow induction system works considerably better than the stock intake box, picking up 5 —7 more

When it was time to have his Corvette modified, Jay Leno chose Corvette Mike Vietro’s shop in Anaheim to design the package and install it. All of the components installed are available directly from Corvette Mike.
