preparing the car himself. He also owns two ‘59 Corvette racecars including the "Purple People Eater" that was campaigned during the early Sixties.
   Carlisle’s show season starts in april and runs through october each year. During the off season, Chip and his wife Judy spend quality time with their three children, Evelyn, Jennifer, Lance and their grandchildren. Besides quality family time, Chip and Lance love racing. You can usually find the pair at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring each year. They also campaign Spec Racers at various events in the Southeast during the winter season.
   Chip and Bill Miller were awarded the prestigious Meguiar’s Collector Car Person of the Year Award in 1996. The award was presented to both of them in recognition of their role in shaping the Corvette hobby during the last two decades. Chip is also dedicated to assisting the Juvenile Diabetes Association in memory of his dear friend Bob Gold. He and Bob worked together for many years and the Bob Gold Auctions played an important role in Carlisle Productions’ growth. Chip Miller’s success is driven by his passion for Corvettes and the people who love them. He’s the genuine article.
