Both Chip and the Corvette hobby lost a dear friend with the passing of Bob Gold. Bob’s auctions had become a mainstay of Corvettes at Carlisle. Chip’s commitment to Juvenile Diabetes was born from his friendship with Bob.

In 1990 the Millers formed Carlisle Productions and today the company produces 9 automotive and 2 antique/collector shows per year and draws over 450,000 people annually on the expanded 82-acre fairground site.
   Most people who are active in the Corvette hobby know about Corvettes of Carlisle. With over 50,000 spectators, 1,500 show cars and 6,000 Corvettes jamming the fairgrounds, it’s an event like no other. The show is held on the third weekend of august and it is one of Carlisle Productions most popular shows.
   Corvette racing is one of Chip’s keen interests. Among the 25 Corvettes in his collection are five Corvette Challenge Cars, including the number 7 Shawn Hendricks racer that Chip actively campaigns. In fact, he takes great pride in competitively
