Every Corvette tells a
story; whither its a rare L88 or a bread and butter L48. To each Corvette
owner, his car is unique and its connection to him or her and their family
special.
That holds
true for Eric and Jasper Highsmith of Tampa, Florida. Jasper purchased the
car in march of 1973 and used it as a weekend driver for most of its life,
so the mileage is just a tad over 64,000 miles. Jasper dressed it out nicely
with the standard L48 small block that produced 190 horsepower and mated to
the M40 Turbo 400 automatic (which was standard with the L48).
Inside the
car is equipped with the custom interior trim that includes leather seat trim
and wood grained trim on the door panels and console.
