At some point in time, this slogan was removed from the box art, adding to the collectibility of this kit. Both companies packed nice renditions of the 32-valve DOHC LT5 V-8, with some Revell-Monogram kits featuring a length of red cord to add spark plug wires. Also included was a proper set of Goodyear ZR315/35x17 tires and two different sets of chrome Corvette rims. Neither kit is currently available.

     Heralded by some as the best all-around Corvette yet, these models of the C5 are readily available from both companies in not only coupe/hardtop/convertible form (no hardtop from AMT at this time), but as snap kits as well. The kits feature very crisp engraving, a nicely-detailed LS-1 V-8 engine/transmission unit, and in the case of Revell-Monogram kits, a set of wheels and tires that must be seen to be believed. They tooled up the new EMT tires in a different rubber than previously used, making them much more pliable. Add to this the
