In this article, we're replacing a sound system that was professionally installed many years ago. The speakers were blown, the amplifier didn't work, and the cassette was just too "old school" for my CD collection. In its day, the Alpine system was the hot ticket for a '74 Corvette, but by today's standards and mine, it just didn’t cut it anymore.
The old Alpine will be replaced with another aftermarket radio, which features a digital readout behind a factory-look dial, along with a six-CD changer that operates from the head unit and a pair of pressure-fit speakers. With pre-made connections, installation is very straightforward, so let’s get rock’n!
