   Like the previous two years of the Route 66 Corvette Show, this year’s event, held on june 8-11, was plagued by rain showers. But unlike the past, the wet weather simply caused a few delays and cancellation of the drag racing on Sunday only. Otherwise, the show went on, with the Gallery of Corvette Milestones’ tent serving as both a great backdrop and protection from the rain drops.
   Sunday morning’s Road Tour de Rallye launched in the wet, with dark clouds hovering above, but that didn’t stop a hardy group of participants from tackling the 52-mile cruise. There were even events within the Road Tour event. While some Corvettes were merely along for the ride, others were
