and salt water to begin its journey back to ProTeam Corvette Sales for
refurbishing.
At ProTeam, a 55-gallon drum was filled with seaweed and sandcrabs,
along with three gallons of seawater that was drained from the engine. And that
was only the surface damage. Later, the Corvette was scrubbed and pressure washed,
the engine cleaned with a kerosene bath, and the car flipped over for a complete
undercarriage clean-up. Amazingly, the engine fired right up. "We were
