The purist in us all rarely fails to cringe at the sight of certain modified Corvettes. While this is more true with early cars than late-models, owners are fortunate that trick body work and cool aftermarket parts added by a previous owner can always be reversed or removed. There is really no way a determined restorer can fail to bring a Corvette to like-new condition. On the other hand, no amount of hard work and financial investment can return a Corvette to "original" condition. It’s a fact that sometimes weighs heavily on Robert Blazer.
