The
Constant Monitor Fan Controller (CMFC) was developed by VHP to help keep the
LS1 engine at a precise temperature to ensure maximum horsepower, torque and
efficiency.

Roger
explained how VHP helps their customers reach their goals. "Our philosophy
has always been to give customers what they want within their budget. So many

of operations Greg Warner showed us the proper installation of these performance
components. Most of these bolt-ons can be installed by the advanced amateur,
meaning you can save some money and have the satisfaction of saying "I
did it myself."
The first modifications Greg likes to make is to the
cooling system. The first addition is the VHP Pwrflo thermostat, which is designed
to begin opening at a lower engine temperature (160 deg. F). It works in conjunction
with the Constant Monitor Fan Controller (CMFC) to keep the block temperature
cooler.
