Boydster II, the successor to the original Boydster, a ‘33 Ford roadster and
winner of America’s Most Beautiful Roadster award at the 1996 Oakland Roadster
Show. Boydster II, although not entered into competition, was an even more spectacular
state-of-the-art rod, as featured on the covers of both Hot Rod and Rod &
Custom magazines.

Berry couldn’t be satisfied with his rather stock ‘60 Corvette when his business
partner showed up one day with a black ‘60 Corvette by Boyd. Oh, Berry loved
the lines of his old Corvette and the nostalgia of the Straight Axle. After
all, he’d driven a ‘57 to high school in the late 1950s when Chevrolet’s Corvette
was without a doubt the hottest car in the country.
So,
about two years ago, Ron got together with Boyd and the pair mapped out plans
for Hot Rods By Boyd to modify the ‘60 convertible
