After
arriving, photographer Arnie Freytag and crew meticulously arranged every detail.
As often happens, everyone was running behind with setting up, so I had a chance
to get in some last minute car cleaning. Because the shoot was in the middle
of Hollywood Boulevard, it didn’t take long for a crowd to gather around the
car, so I found myself doing crowd control along with the security cop. The
shoot finally got under way, lasting about three hours. As the official “Corvette
Mike photographer,” I was able to get some nice shots myself! The car looked
great. Oh, and so did Jodi Paterson.
The
next day, the car was returned to Dennis and Jackie, safe and sound. But a week
later, Corvette Mike was again contacted by Playboy. Seems they needed the car
back for a video shoot! So arrangements were made to bring the car back to Corvette
Mike. Again, the car was detailed, then driven to LA’s San Fernando Valley for
the shoot, which was slightly more complicated because it was done on a very
