A
MacIntosh six-channel amplifier powers the sound system. With the six channels,
it can push all four corners and also run a pair of 10-inch JL Audio subwoofers.
Goren
and his installers used the factory openings for the new aftermarket speakers.
An MB Quart 8-inch midbass speaker with tweeter and a separate MB Quart tweeter
are installed in each of the doors. At the rear, the factory speakers were replaced
with Eclipse 5 1/4-inch two-way speakers, with a PVC cup placed behind them
to provide optimum air suspension for better performance. The center compartment
behind the seats contains two JL Audio 10-inch subwoofers in a sealed enclosure.

Kaplan’s Nokia cellular phone, Goren constructed a custom cradle

Two flush-mounted sensors for the anti-collision system are barely noticed in
the bumper openings. The front sensor of the anti-collision system appears next
to the stock Pia light.
