Since
Mid America was celebrating its 25th Silver anniversary this year,
it seemed only appropriate that all silver Corvettes be parked front and center
by the main building.
As
you walk through the aisles and view the Corvettes parked on Mid America's huge
South Field, you'd find a '58 parked next to a '98 parked next to a '78 parked
next to a '68. The diversity of year, body styles and colors is mind boggling.
Funfest is rapidly becoming the premier Corvette event in the Midwest.
Yager and his staff share the passion Corvette owners
have for their cars. Yager's "MY Garage" is perhaps the most comprehensive
collection of Corvettes, memorabilia and literature in private hands. It's a
tribute to Yager's love of the Corvette and Corvette history, and the doors
were thrown open this week for all to enjoy. The collection is located next
to Mid America's offices and is open to the public during business hours year
round.
Yager is proud of his company's accomplishments, and
rightly so. A tool and die maker by trade, Yager borrowed $500 to get into the
Corvette
