owners and the series that last ran in 1989. At Corvettes at Carlisle ’99, Curt shared this extensive knowledge with a large audience of present Challenge owners and interested Challenge fans. John Powell and Ralph Kramer assisted Curt in the historical seminar. Ralph was former director of Public Relations at Chevrolet and helped plan Chevrolet's participation in the series. John Powell was instrumental in promoting and overseeing the organization of the Corvette Challenge series.     
    Curt and Ralph provided the audience with extensive handouts on the cars today and year by year history on how the Corvette Challenge evolved. Powell gave some inside stories about the drivers and the cars that were both entertaining and enlightening.
