The Plan

     After packing the car for the coming weekend (thank you Chevrolet for the trunk) and loading the 12 disc player with the appropriate cruising music, six hard rock CD’s for me and six 80’s rock for Keily, we were ready to depart on what would be a great weekend. Our drive from central Florida to Islamorada would be six to seven hours of serious top down cruising in the roadster, with a long stint on Florida’s turnpike where the C5 ruled the road (at least it did when I was driving).

Doin' The Miami Crawl
     Our trip down Southeast Florida was going along great. I was driving and Keily was navigating (or nag-a-vating, as I sometimes refer to it). We were making good time buzzing down the turnpike when I had an inspiration: Let's get off the turnpike and hop over to A1A around Miami to get some pictures of the C5 along the beaches. That was a colossal mistake as traffic was crawling along. Little did I know this would set us back two hours and we never got to
