Slide the U-nut off the front hole in the inner fender. Save the U-nut because
you will be re-using it.

At the front of the left inner fender you will see two 10mm bolts. Remove the
front one and loosen the rear one.

Gently rock the hood forward and attach the top end of the support to the upper
mounting bracket. Make sure that your hood safety rod stays in place. Re-install
the washer and safety clip. One side is completed now. Repeat the procedure
on the other hood support.
